7. Hotel Meals
Get out of the hotel for a meal or two. Not just to pay less but also to experience the culture of the city in which you are vacationing. You can ask your hotel concierge for recommendations or (for the real deal on what the locals like) ask someone in housekeeping.
8. Tours
You’ll pay for everything if you book through a tour guide company. From professionally taken photos (since you can’t bring your own camera on many excursions, you’re forced to buy these!) to bottles of water, you’ll end up spending more than the cost of the tour and it likely won’t be cheap.
