Exchanging your money at the airport. This is one of the best ways to really save money on vacation. Plan ahead to get the best rate and go through your bank or an agency that’s hooking you up with a great rate.
10. Lingo
If you’re unfamiliar with the language of the country on your vacation itinerary, you may end up paying more. Not being able to negotiate or even read the prices makes you an easy target for up-charging.
11. Boarding
Paying to get on a plane sooner or with an early boarding group. If this is really that important to you, go for it. We would rather hang out at the gate enjoying the space and extra seating until everyone else has boarded. Besides, how crucial is it to really be a boarding snob?
