12. Let it Go
Don’t pass on your prejudices about school and subjects to your child. Some of us hated school and others here loved it! Regardless, we should all act like school was the most awesome thing ever when it comes to talking about it with our kids. We have moments of honesty, when we share that math didn’t come so easy for us; and then we laugh about how we burnt our hair off one side in science class that one time. But overall, we teach our children that school is a positive experience.
