2. Eat Plenty of Fruit
A 2004 study published in the Archives of Ophthalmology indicated that people who ate 3 or more helpings of fruit a day had a reduced risk of age-related maculopathy (ARM). Remember that saying, “An apple a day….”

3. Go for the Green
Vegetables like kale, spinach corn and broccoli contain lots of lutein and zeaxanthin which help protect eyes against UV light and have been shown to improve night vision.
