The sun shines all year long and UV rayscan penetrate clouds. Both good reasons to wear hats and sunglasses. Prolonged exposure to UV rays damage your eyes as well as your skin so make sure your sunglasses have a 100% UV label.

12. Eat Beets
The bright color of beets is the key to its healthful benefits. Beets have an unusually high level of betalains which contain caretenoids that support the nervous system and eyes. Don’t peel them, as the majority of healthy nutrients are in the skin.
