Beaded Wreath Ornaments
For these colorful additions to your tree, you’ll need pipe cleaners, a wide array of beads, ribbon, and thread. Start by forming a little loop at one end of a pipe cleaner to stop the beads from slipping right off. Then have your child thread beads onto their pipe cleaner. It sounds easy enough, but it actually can take them a good while to do this, so read a book or listen to music and relax while they work. Then tie the ends of the pipe cleaner (now loaded with beads) together to form a wreath shape. Next, tie a ribbon into a bow and attach it to the wreath by poking the end of the pipe cleaner through the back of the bow, twisting it to secure it in place. Finally, tie a thread to the wreath so your child can proudly hang it to your tree. Happy holidays to you and your miniature artists at home.
