9. No Gore
As scary as it is, the original Halloween had no blood and guts. Its scares were purely based on suspense and clever camera work. Although the low tech special effects were dictated by the budget, our imaginations are often much scarier.
10. The Babysitter Murders
One has to wonder if the Halloween series would be as iconic today if it kept its original title, The Babysitter Murders.
