Arts and Crafts kit for the Bunk
If your kids love being creative, send them some care packages to help them have some artsy fun in their bunk. Sure, they’ll probably have access to art materials during their daily activities, but they’ll love group projects that they can do with their friends during their downtime. Think friendship bracelet sets, decorate-your-own-pillow materials, an origami kit, coloring books and crayons etc. You can even send canvas totes and fabric markets so your child and her friends can design their own bags.

Books and Magazines
If your kid is a bookworm (we should all be so lucky), then he or she is probably reading even though school isn’t in session. Send some new books, maybe from the suggested summer reading list, maybe some that are just for fun. And if you have a teenager who’s missing her Teen Vogue and Seventeen while she’s away, send her some magazines to hold her over until she gets home. After all, every girl loves flipping through magazines and gossiping with her girlfriends, especially when cell phones and social media are not an option.

Stationary, Stickers and Make-Your-Own Postcards
Even though your kids spend the rest of their year texting, emailing, on snap chat or Facebook, camp is a chance to unplug from technology and social media and embrace a more old-fashioned way of communicating: writing letters. Send some beautiful stationary, maybe even some personalized pieces, as well as fun pens and stickers. Maybe, just maybe your kids will actually write to you if they have the right tools.
