3. A tattoo: They’ve been wanting to get one and once they turn 18, you can’t stop them anyway. Ensure they get it done safely and by licensed staff by picking the place for them. You won’t get to pick the design, but that you’ll just have to live with.
4. A surprise party: Bring together a bunch of school friends, a few favorite relatives and throw in food and a few gifts. Save the alcohol for the over-21 crowd, though.
