8. Dare to Dream
We hate the saying, ‘That’s the way I was raised and I turned out alright,’ because, did you? Did you really? If you’re like most of us, there’s plenty of room for improvement in your life, perhaps in large part based on the way you were raised. Feel no guilt for wanting to live differently than your parents. You have to figure out your own priorities and life in a way that makes you happy versus perpetuating an old pattern. ‘What is happiness?’ is a question you need to pose on your own terms.
