2. He was a talented wrestler and is in the Wrestling Hall of Fame. As a young man, while serving as a soldier in the Black Hawk war (1832), Lincoln displayed considerable talent as a wrestler in inter-army competitions. As such, he is represented at the National Wrestling Hall of Fame.
