7. Nantucket
Literally, every corner and quaint road in Nantucket is beautiful—the main street is lined with cute shops, great cafes, upscale clothing stores, fun toy stores and amazing restaurants. The homes are gorgeous, and the beaches are even more beautiful. Kids can frolic in the sand, play in one of the many oceanfront playgrounds (Children’s Beach and Jetty’s Beach are our faves), and throughout summer there are tons of activities in town as well, ranging from parades to festivals to music shows and more. The entire island is casual and very family-friendly, and if you’re looking for an amazing place to call home, the Nantucket Hotel is a family-friendly haven just steps away from the heart of town.
