Domestic violence and abuse is an epidemic. One of the most frustrating things for the women in the abusive relationship as well as for those who are outsiders but know what’s going on, is that its power over the victim often leads them to wrongly justify their abuse, whether it’s emotional, physical, verbal or sexual.
