3. Homework
Just because your kids are on a brief hiatus from school doesn’t mean their homework has disappeared too. On the contrary, they probably got a load of assignments to complete by their first day back. Can you say buzzkill? We get it, your kids need a little break, and you probably do too. But before you bask in a state of homework-free bliss, set a schedule for upcoming assignments so no one is stuck cramming all their work into one night of hell. As a parent it’s crucial you teach your kids how to budget their time and plan ahead.
