14. Lack of impulse control.
Small children respond to problems with quick, emotional responses. It is our job as parents to teach our children that actions have consequences, and that it’s much better to stop, think things through and make responsible choices. We must also model making balanced, educated, non-violent choices in our own lives for them to truly understand.
