At the mention of ‘friends’ does your mind go to a TV show, a song or the image of your best buddy? Throughout our lives, if we’re lucky, we are blessed with healthy relationships. Defining friendship is not the easiest thing but Oprah seemed to say it best, “Lots of people want to ride with you in the limo, but what you want is someone who will take the bus with you when the limo breaks down.”
Friendship skills change from the those that we must cultivate on the playground to those affect lifelong friends that stand by us in times of trouble, stand up with us at weddings, bar mitzvahs, and baptisms; and stay for us when we need support.
