9. Celebrities Love It
Over the course of its 27-year run, various celebrities have made Shark Week appearances. Les Stroud from Survivorman hosted in 2007 and 2009. We’ve also seen appearances by Philip DeFranco and Josh Wolf, not to mention Modern Family’s Julie Bowen who bravely swam with the sharks! @SharkWeek also has a celebrity cult following that is already tweeting up a storm in anticipation.
