“While a round face implies youthfulness, a high arch will balance the look out so you don’t look like a moon pie,” says Danzler. Before you create a high arch you have to figure out where your eyebrows should start and end. The trick is to hold a pencil against the side of your nose, straight up to where it meets the brow. Turn the pencil at an angle, holding it against the nostril, so that it crosses over the center of your eye. Where the pencil hits your eyebrow is where the peak of your arch should start, so pluck away. Then move the pencil until it meets the edge of the outer eye—this is where your brow should end.
