You can often find online tutoring for free or super cheap if you’re looking to have a limited number of problems or concepts explained to you or your child.
15. Just stay out of it.
The book Broken Compass: Parental Involvement with Children’s Education, by Keith Robinson and Angel L. Harris, reveals that that helping your kids with homework could actually be detrimental to their success in school and in learning throughout life. So…maybe just stay out of it every once in a while?
