Perhaps the queen of female superheroes, DC Comics’ Wonder Woman may wear a sexy costume but she’s been a feminist icon since her arrival in 1941. No Disney princess, Wonder Woman is a mix of brawn and brains and graced the first cover of Ms. Magazine in 1972. Lynda Carter brought her to life on the small screen.
