HERE’S HOW
As I mentioned, my first stop is always the thrift store. (Note: Don’t go to a bunch of different thrift stores looking for a bunch of different items. Keep your money in your pocket. If you don’t find anything at the first two thrift stores you shop at, move on and improvise.) I was able to find the blue cake stand with pink roses for $2.25 and the white milk glass vase for $1.25 at my first thrift store. Those were good finds, but I wasn’t done. I headed to another thrift store and there I found the silver-plated condiment tray for $6.00, as well as the large clear glass plate (to be used as a serving tray) for 99¢, the bar soap holder for 25¢, and the milk glass cup, also for 25¢.
