11. Plan it Together
Bond over discussing the location, itinerary, amenities (or lack thereof), roommate situation, packing and emergency procedures. Your kiddo will feel more prepared and excited if he or she knows what’s coming and feels involved in the planning process; and you’ll feel better knowing you’ve discussed all the necessary details with your little one who, by the way, isn’t so little anymore!
