What Should I Expect Once I’m There?
Part of what makes Cuba so unique is that in many ways it is stuck in the past—everything from the architecture to the cars look like you are traveling back in time, largely due to the trade embargo which has made it difficult to acquire new vehicles and car parts. In addition, there is a huge music scene, which is a big part of Cuban culture; you’ll see musicians on street corners, sidewalks and in music clubs, which are also a part of this thriving music scene. And, as Huff Post reports, don’t forget about the natural sights, including mountain ranges (perfect for hiking), a cave system (for exploring) and coral reefs (for the beach-lover).
