6. Build Responsibility
If you really want to know how to motivate your child it’s important to instill a sense of responsibility in them. From chores to homework to being accountable with friends and family, it’s your job to help your child find their own inner sense of accountability that will serve them forever.
7. Let Knowledge & Learning Transcend School
Encourage overall learning by encouraging them to be interested in subjects outside of school. If your kid wants to know everything there is to know about vintage cars or clothing, let them go nuts with research and self-education. There is so much more to the world than what is offered in a classroom and, honestly, if they learn to learn about their own interests, those same abilities will translate into better performance in school as well.
