5. The 4 A’s: Attention, Appreciation, Affection, Acceptance
Think about how to motivate your child through the four A’s. Pay attention when they do well and show them appreciation for their effort and achievements. Give plenty of affection regardless of whether they’re succeeding or struggling and, no matter what, let them know that you accept them exactly the way they are.
