13. Embrace the Struggle
Encourage your child do things that challenge them. Then, when they do, tell them that they’re brave.
14. Mentorship
Educate your child about lives of successful people who they may want to emulate. There is no shame in buying your kid a book about women who changed the world or scientists who made history. Show them what’s possible with an education and they just might find someone amazing to look up to and strive to be like.
15. Celebrate Uniqueness
Let your kids know that each child is gifted in some way. Once you discover what special talent your child has, encourage the development of those gifts.
