When dealing with a business correspondence, there are very specific rules surrounding what kind of pen to use, and what color ink is appropriate. The number one rule of thumb is to never use colored ink, and by colored we mean pink, orange, green, purple etc. It appears juvenile and far too playful for a work environment.
