The Adelante Movement, the grassroots financial empowerment group founded by and for Latinas, is taking its national tour to Chicago, with a roster of heavy-hitters in Latina business, personal and financial development. A free day-long program, scheduled for October 12, will inspire, motivate and empower Chicago Latinas to create economic prosperity for their families and their communities.

Sandra Cisneros, author of the iconic novel The House on Mango Street, is a Chicago native whose books have been translated into over 20 languages worldwide.
