Love Yourself
Much of Frida’s strength lies in her incredible self-acceptance. She contracted polio as a child, which left her with a limp. In her teens, she was horribly injured in a bus accident which left her scarred, unable to have children and suffering from chronic pain for the rest of her life. Rather than letting these tragedies defeat her, she faced them head-on — accepting that they made her who she was and finding the beauty in that.
