6. Blue-Blocking
This feature is a nice extra when choosing your lenses. Blue-blocking lenses reduce glare and improve contrast, which explains why they are popular with skiers, boaters and hunters. They also protect against high energy wavelengths which may contribute to macular degeneration later in life.
