Fight LGBT Discrimination A person can be excluded or demeaned for their race, religion, age, and even their gender identity or sexual orientation. The International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission (IGLHRC) is working to expose the abuse of human rights and put an end to such discrimination.
Disaster Relief Every year countries around the globe experience natural and man-made disasters that ruin communities, destroy cultures and injure and displace millions. Various disaster relief efforts provide aid to those countries in need, and sadly, there is never a shortage of help needed. Four years ago a deadly earthquake destroyed much of Haiti, and thanks to generous donations the Red Cross has helped nearly 4.4 million Haitians.
