SEE THE BIG PICTURE
My father recently turned 75. As we prepared to celebrate, I went searching for photos of him and was struck by the lack of them, because he was always the photographer during our childhood. Nowadays, moms are almost always the family photographer. That’s partially because we think, “Oh, we’ll want pictures of this one day,” but, it’s also by design. If we are the ones taking the picture then we don’t have to be in the picture.
