It tells the story of an old woman whom the Three Kings visited on their way to see the newborn King of the poor. After eating and spending the evening with her, they invite La Vieja Belén to join them. She tells them to go on ahead, and that she will join them later, after she has done her housework. A week later, she gathers what gifts she has and goes to take them to the newborn child, whom she continues to search for until this day. As she travels, whenever she encounters a poor child, she leaves a small gift in case he is the King she is looking for.
