8. Giant Pilgrim Head
This big head of Lonnie Bo Pilgrim is a corporate tribute to a real person. On top of a pavilion sits the bust of an elderly man wearing an enormous Pilgrim hat with a buckle. He founded Pilgrim’s Pride in 1946 with a small feed store in Pittsburg that later expanded into a company to distribute food products around the world. Bo capitalized on his last name with the signature hat, a marketing gimmick which he paraded around in at events and functions.
