3. Hank Williams
Many country music aficionados consider Williams to be the genre’s first superstar. Williams died, after a hard life that included abusing alcohol and morphine, in the back seat of his Cadillac at the young age of 29. His tombstone is inscribed with several song titles, including this one, which shot to Number One on the music charts after Williams’ death.
