Can we take a second to get real about the annual stress of Halloween? From the decorations to the trick-or-treating, it’s exhausting! And expensive! The National Retail Federation’s 2014 Halloween Consumer Spending Survey says, “Americans are expected to spend $2.8 billion on Halloween costumes. Specifically, consumers will spend $1 billion on children’s costumes, $1.4 billion on adult costumes, and $350 million on pet costumes.”
