We’re celebrating Hank Aaron and baseball all this month! On April 8, 1974, Hank Aaron of the Atlanta Braves hit his 715th home run to surpass Babe Ruth’s record of 714 home runs. Aaron went on to score more runs prior to retiring but his record has since been broken, as the sport continues to evolve.
