6. You’re not wearing sunscreen everyday.
We’re exposed to the sun daily and applying sunscreen should also be a daily ritual. Even a modest SPF of 15 under makeup is an effective deterrent. Consider using cosmetics with an SPF whenever possible.

7. You’re using a sunscreen spray or wipe.
Despite the ease of aerosols, much of the product blows away in the breeze, providing scant protection. Wipes are convenient and easy to carry but sunscreen towelettes contain such a small amount of sunscreen that their production is no longer approved by the FDA. Don’t waste your money. Good old-fashioned lotion is the most effective sunscreen.
