OATMAN, ARIZONA
Oatman is a living ghost town on old Route 66. The burros wandering the streets are the offspring of those that once hauled miners’ supplies. Small and full of old buildings perched along the one main road, it hardly resembles the fake Wild West towns most people visit nowadays. Oatman provides a good idea of what the old Wild West was really like, and the kids will love the burros.
