BISBEE, ARIZONA
Founded as a gold, silver and copper mining town, Bisbee remains a prosperous place high above the hot desert. The crash in housing prices, coupled with an attractive climate and picturesque scenery, led to Bisbee’s rebirth as an artists’ colony in the early 1970s. And according to lore, ghosts inhabit the Copper Queen Hotel. This thriving modern town still connected to it’s historic past is still worth a visit.
