Set this one aside for ladies night, girls and bring on the fun! Tatum is, in fact, a trained dancer who actually spent some time stripping so this film is a fun look into what his life may have been like if he hadn’t become the Hollywood heartthrob of today.
1. Tap (1989) • Gregory Hines, Suzzanne Douglas, Sammy Davis Jr.
This film oozes with talent on the tap dance floor. We love that it’s a modern shoutout to the art of tap dance and it’s a story with a couple twists and turns that aren’t choreographed into a routine. We laugh every time as Gregory Hines inadvertently demands a ‘challenge!’ and the dancing the follows is probably some of the greatest tap dancing ever captured on film
