Cascarones
For many Latinos, particularly in the Southwest, no Easter is complete without a nice basket full of cascarones. These confetti-filled eggs are fun to make and the materials are readily available. Oh Happy Day has the best tutorial with beautiful pictures and suggestions for “confetti.” This craft is suitable for children of ALL ages. Sure you can now buy these in some stores or online, but the fun is in the memories made while decorating them with your kids.
