London’s parks are beautiful. But avoid Hampstead Heath after dark unless you want to stumble upon a very enthusiastic badger or a group of people having a very intense philosophical debate about hedgehogs. It’s pitch black, the paths are muddy, and you will definitely sprain an ankle on a tree root.
Greenwich Park is stunning, but avoid the climb up the hill after a big lunch. The view is amazing, but the nausea is real. And if you try to walk through Hyde Park at dusk, please know the geese have formed a mafia. They will hiss at you for no reason. They are relentless.
