Euron Greyjoy (Pilou Asbæk) shows up as the world’s creepiest pirate uncle, wearing leather and screaming about "a godless man." He’s so over-the-top evil that you can’t help but laugh—he’s basically a cartoon villain who accidentally wandered into a serious drama. Then there’s Theon Greyjoy (Alfie Allen), who is still trying to get his mojo back after some very traumatic events. Watching him is like watching a sad, wet dog try to be brave.
Brienne of Tarth (Gwendoline Christie) is back, still being the tallest and most honorable person in the room. She gets a few scenes with Tormund Giantsbane (Kristofer Hivju), who stares at her like she’s a six-foot-three snack. Their "will they/won’t they" energy is the comedic gold of the season.

And of course, we have The Hound (Rory McCann), who has gone from "grumpy murderer" to "grumpy zombie-fighter with a soft spot for little girls." His scenes with Beric Dondarrion (Richard Dormer) and Thoros of Myr (Paul Kaye) are like watching a metal band go on a road trip to the apocalypse.
The Big Baddies: White Walkers and One Angry Dragon
Let’s not ignore the Night King (Vladimir Furdik), who is basically the universe’s most terrifying villain. He doesn’t talk, he doesn’t negotiate—he just raises the dead and gives everyone the creeps. And in Season 7, he gets his hands on a dragon, which is the ultimate "uh oh" moment of the series. Poor Viserion—you were too beautiful for this world.
