If you boil it down, BA from Gatwick is a hodgepodge of sun, snow, and surprises. You’ve got the classics (Orlando, Cancun), the Caribbean obsessions (every island except maybe a rock in the ocean), and the quirky gems (Mauritius, Calgary, Bodrum). Plus, they’re always shuffling the deck—new routes pop up like daisies. (I’m still waiting for a direct flight to Ulan Bator, but I’m not holding my breath.)
Next time you’re at Gatwick, stare at that BA board a little longer. You might spot Santiago (Chile, not the Spanish one) or Las Vegas (because what happens in Gatwick’s departure lounge... stays in Gatwick). And if you see a flight to Antigua, do me a favor: take it. I’ll be jealous, but also happy for you. (Maybe bring me back a postcard. And a rum cake. No pressure.)
