Don’t even think about using “et al.” for two authors. That’s like showing up to a party with a friend and only introducing yourself. Rude, right? Both authors worked on that book, so both get a name drop.
Unless… one of the authors is a famous ghostwriter. Then maybe just whisper their name. Just kidding. Cite them both. The ghostwriter deserves love, too.
