July 24 is National Cousins Day, which means it’s time to celebrate cousin relationships in our lives, the ones many might take for granted for the simple reason that they’ve just always been around. If you were lucky enough to grow up with cousins, chances are you were never bored at family reunions or holidays. Another cheeky perk of cousin relationships is that after said gatherings they ultimately returned to their own houses with your aunts and uncles, unlike your siblings who were always there to be a thorn in your side. The cousins’ departure gave us a chance to miss them and long to see them again soon.
