The Immigrant Bill of Rights

Editor’s Note: This post is part of a series on immigration, leading up to our Twitter Talk on February 13 at 9pm EST with Emmy-winning journalist Jorge Ramos. To take part in the conversation, follow #CountryForAll on Twitter.

Jorge Ramos’s book A Country for All talks about an immigration manifesto. As the push for comprehensive immigration reform continues in Washington this year, Latino Rebels and Cuéntame have launched a new Immigrant Bill of Rights to send a message to President Obama and leading legislatures. As the post says, “We want rights before enforcement.”

You can visit ImmigrantBillofRights.org and share your story with text, video, or image. What rights should be included? What do you think of the immigration debate?
