5. When you are off work, be off work. Take the time to sit and watch a movie or do something else you enjoy, with no other distractions. Your phone, computer and tablet should be out of reach.
6. Practice unitasking even with mundane tasks that don’t necessarily require your full  attention. 7. Don’t talk on the phone while ironing, for example—do either one or the other.
8. Set aside a time for social media that doesn’t interfere with your work schedule. Your output at work will be much more effective, and you’ll waste a lot less time.
9. Practice mindfulness. Try to be present in everything you do. When you drive, drive, don’t talk on the phone (even hands-free!). When you have lunch, eat, don’t text. This will help you feel more relaxed and be more alert for the next activity.

Quality versus quantity is still what we should strive for. Enjoy doing one activity at a time and you will be amazed at your positive results. You might even be able to get more done when you don’t have to deal with the stress of attempting to juggle too many tasks.
