In his play, The Tempest, one of William Shakespeare’s characters, says “Now I will believe that there are unicorns.” Unicorns have remained a popular literary, artistic and cultural tradition right up to the current day. People have been obsessed with finding and capturing unicorns for centuries. Supposed unicorn horns, or sometimes powdered unicorn horn, were prized for their healing powers.
